Hey guys, do you know that the reason we have Monday off is not just to have fun?  It is a day to remember a very special man and the HUGE difference he made in the lives of EVERY citizen and in the history of our country! It is a day to give to others in service.

I WANT MY MUMMY! 10-27

OK – So, it is Halloween! YAY!  But guess what?  We can learn about Science AND Social Studies AND have Halloween fun!  How can we do all of this?  We can do this by learning AND WRITING about MUMMIES!

The desert sands of the Middle East were perfect for naturally mummifying the dead.  However, people soon learned how to preserve dead bodies themselves!

HOW ARE MUMMIES MADE?

We will learn how and why mummies were created.
