The Atom’s Family! 9-20-09

We learned last week that everything in the universe is made of MATTER! We also learned that matter is made of tiny things called atoms.

Today, we are going to watch a video to learn some more awesome information about atoms. You will take notes that will be glued in your notebook.

Turn to the next blank right hand page and title it – The Atom’s Family.

Here is the link to the Brain Pop movie with Tim and Mobie!

Now, visit this site and draw a comic strip on the left hand side with the information you learn about PROTONS, NEUTRONS, QUARKS, GLUONS, and ELECTRONS. CLICK HERE.

When we did this, you were out and we had a sub. The paper never got glued in… at least I still have my science notebook! And OPEN THE BLOG!

I can’t get into the Brain Pop without subscribing. Do we have a password to use ro do I need to accept the trial? Also I don’t have my science notebook at home….

Atoms are the coolest they make up everything in the whole wide world. Hi Mrs.Stoddart,

Atoms were so muchfun to learn about. Our table had fun doing the comic strip!!!! There are so many fun facts that we learned about atoms. We never knew that there were so many atoms around us and so many different types. We hope to do something like this again.
