I am not there today physically but I am there in spirit.  In fact – I am speaking to you through this computer! :)

WE WILL HAVE MARVELOUS MONDAY TOMORROW FOR TERRIFIC TUESDAY.

PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

If you have been absent, please get your make up work from the folder.  Britton, your make up work is still in there.

#1 – I expect you to show Mrs. House your best behavior.  Please, let her leave today saying great things about 6th grade!  I know you  are awesome – show her that.  Thank you in advance.

#2  Catch up in your note book.  When I get back, I will grade CHEMISTRY NOTES (with left side facts – pictures and color), WHAT’S THE MATTER (no left side), THE ATOM’S FAMILY (right side comic strip),  PERIODIC  TABLE  NOTES (left side for periods 1 and 2), STATES OF MATTER (right side only so far).

#3 Get the handout from Mrs. House.   Title this MORE PERIODIC TABLE – you will glue a handout here.  Add it to your table of contents.

#4 Fill out the handout using the websites below.  Define all the words that are written in all capital letters (also define metals, nonmetals, and metalloids – I forgot to capitalize these words – sorry)  Glue this on the RIGHT SIDE.

#5 On the left side, write 10 good test questions with the answers.  Make the questions and answers colorful and include pictures.

#6 Leave me a comment sometime before you leave the classroom today.  In this comment tell me honestly how engaged you were in today’s lesson and why.  Tell me what you learned – be specific.  Also, tell me what you want to learn more about.  SEND ME YOUR COMMENTS INDIVIDUALLY AND NOT BY TABLE  – PLEASE.  Thank you.
