6th Grade Science and Social Studies

8-30-09 You made it through the First Week!

August 29th, 2009 · 3 Comments

We had a great first week! We discussed the difference between obsevation and inference. We OBSERVED a burning “CANDLE”. We discussed what makes an apple an apple. We are experts on the difference between QUANTITATIVE and QUALITATIVE observations. In Social Studies, we began learning about geography and the 5 themes. We even studied the geography of REINHARDT. NEXT WEEK, we will do a lab, review the scientific method, , learn how to read maps and start ECONOMICS!
